Fola glared darkly at Freeman before she went around and began rounding her small group up to go looking for a safe place to stay.

"Eeeeek!!!" A skinny girl with pink hair emerged from a small wooded area, running toward camp.

"Alice!" A tall, built man followed. "It was just a squirrel!"

"That thing was going to attack me, Gabriel!" She slowed her pace to a fast walk, brushing any twigs from her jeans.

"Come on... Lets just go back into the woods!" Gabriel grinned, halting his movements as he seen a group of about 20 or so people standing around as if in a discussion. "Oh... Hey!"

Alice huffed while crossing her arms, glancing at the group of people as Gabriel went to greet them.

"When did you all get here?" He questioned, attempting to stand in the center of everyone.

Fola turned to the new people and cocked her head. "I assume you two woke up before most others or you went to look for possible food supplies? How about any buildings that might still be somewhat habitable? Or anything we can use to make some shelter, we're going to need it soon. Nights get cold down here."

Alice shivered as the last remaining creepy feeling the squirrel had given washed away. Scanning the area, she felt her nerves welling up in her throat before she pushed that, too, away from her. Walking over to Freeman, she waved with a smile.

"Hey. You look like you might know where to find food around here?" Placing her hands on her hips, she cocked her head to the side.

As Gabriel took a small step closer to Fola, he gave a soft grin before shaking his head; he hadn't seen anything more than trees at that one squirrel.

"We really didn't adventure too far from the camp site." He responded, attempting to resist any urges to move closer to the Fola though feeling no shame in taking a quick glance at her bosoms. "Maybe someone should climb to the top of that tree over there" he pointed "and see if they can see anything?"

The sight down his scope was nearly perfect. He had a visual on the entire group from his vantage point. Clicking his mic "Two in position with sight on all tangos." He released the button "Two, One. Do you have eyes on the woman organizing the tangos?" He shifts his rifle slightly and looks in his scope. "Affirm One I have her deadlocked. Tell Lead he is clear to enter zone." He listens to the acknowledgement and the check-ins from three through five.

Three helicopters buzz the group, two attack helicopters which take up hovering positions on opposite sides of the group, and one armed transport helicopter which hovers just outside the group and three figures can be seen fast-roping down from it, two heavily armed soldiers and one high ranking officer. The two soldiers take up flanking positions beside the officer and they walk towards the group stopping a safe distance away, but still within talking range.

The officer begins to speak "Your attention please!"

Xia looked a Fola and Freeman shaking her head in agreement stairing at the men coming down from the helicopters.
"Um Fola whats goin on?" She whispered quietly as her fingers start to glow, "What is this place?"

Fola swung out arm blocking the group from the soldiers that descended from the helicopters. She eyed the two soldiers. "You definitely have our attention... What do you want with us? Why are we here? Is there something you want with us...?"

She was afraid of them but she wasn't going to let them know that. She wanted, no needed, to know what they were doing here and why there was soldiers in full combat gear repelling out of armed combat helicopters. It was like back home in South Africa when she was watching the soldiers enter the combat zones.

Freeman stopped in his tracks as he heard the helicopters. He turned around and watched the soldiers as they dropped from the helicopters. His eyes had widened seeing these guys as memories from the camps. He clinched his hands into fists as he took a deep breath watching the soldiers.

Adilah stared, glassy eyed at the helicopters before ducking as the men replied down the ropes. She had let go of Lyn's hand and moved up to Fola. The guns scared her, it reminded her of the metal objects the "voices" were afraid of. Suddenly she began hyperventilating. Tiny tongue of flames licked around her, Fola and the soldiers as she began to panic badly.

"they're going to hurt us! They want to hurt us with their metal stick of fire and sound!! Don't let them! Don't let them! Don't let them near us or they'll kill us!!!!"

The soldiers move quickly to cover the officer and bring their guns to the ready, aiming them at Fola and Adilah. The officer speaks from the back "As you can see we are well prepared to deal with her. I suggest you calm her down. There need be no bloodshed yet." One of the soldiers tilts his head as if listening to something and then whispers to the officer and indicates Xia. "And you with the glowing fingers, unless you want to lose them I would stop!"

Fola glared angrily. "how about you put up the guns like nice soldiers because I wont be able to calm her down while they're out and if you haven't noticed her powers are controlled only by her emotions. She's not all there really and if you want to talk like civilized people put the weapons away. Or are you just going to shoot us all on the spot?"

She rested a hand gently on Adilah's arm as she quietly stamped out the flames the threaten to burn the young girl. "Adilah honey how about you take a big breath with me and let it out slowly. The nice men are going to put those metal sticks away so they don't scare you anymore. Just take a breath and relax with me okay?

Adilah nodded as she sniffles, tears sliding down her cheeks as she sucked in a deep shaky breath like any five year old would then held it until Fola reminded her to let it go. She was calming down but she wasn't going to stop until the guns were away.

Xia snickered as she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms watching the glow fade. "Happy? Now why dont you drop those weapons and tell us what is going on?" she said as she glared at them.

The officer moves forwards "You are in no position to make demands! However I have no interest in seeing this end like this, there's no fun in that." He gestures to the soldiers and they lower their weapons letting them hang from hooks on their vests yet keeping their hands near them. The officer smiles "There now you can relax. Shall we get down to business?"

Fola watched Adilah for a moment, still keeping the soldiers in her view from the corner of her eye. She helped the young girl relax before she gently pushed her off to go be by Freeman or Xia before she turned her attention to the soldiers. "Yes, let's get down to business." She answered coolly. She was good and pretending to be calm, keeping a level head when and where it was needed from the streets she lived on for many years; now was the time to use everything she had learned from just facing the dangers of her home. She inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly, and though she wanted to close her eyes as she did so she did not dare take her sight off the heavily armed men in front of her or the helicopters circling slowly above them; this was one of the rare times she wished she had some kind of technological or magnetic power but it would be of no use, she wouldn't have any control of it just like everyone else here in the group.

Another calming breath before she spoke. "Why are we here? Why are you here? Where IS here? What is going on? The least you could do is explain everything to us after threatening to kill us."

Xia walked to Fola with her arms crossed still, keping her eyes on the soldiers glancing at Adilah and motioned for her to go on back to Freeman. "I suggest you answer, I dont like people who come up to me with weapons drawn and threaten innocent people."

Freeman stood in the back watching what is going on his temper dying down. He then looked at Xia and smiled at her attitude knowing that he loves a woman in command and one with attitude. He cracks his knuckles not knowing what the outcome of this will be, but whatever happens he plans to survive.

Adilah had her head tilted to one side as she walked back to Freeman. She bit her lip as she once again was lost in her own mind. It was safer when she was like that but that also meant no one knew if she would snap out of it and suddenly lose control and go into a tantrum. She reached Freeman and gripped his sleeve in her hand as she looked up at him.

"they're so loud. They make my head hurt..." she complained as she tugged on his sleeve.

"So many questions... you may not get answers you like..." He glances at a pda in his hand" Ah here we are... Fola wind manipulation. Well where to start." He pauses and glances at his/pda. "Good afternoon... hmmm how to refer to you, freaks? Yes we will go with that. Good afternoon freaks!" The soldiers beside him laugh softly at his joke. "You are here because of what you are! Where is here? Well its an island, man made and inescapable so do not waste your lives that way. You are here for a purpose... to help train the worlds soldiers how to fight your kind. Simply because we can. We do not want another repeat of him. Basically you are here to be hunted."

Freeman looked down at the girl and smiled a sweet sincere smile, "It will be alright, they will stop soon enough." Freeman's gaze went back up to the soldiers as he heard that all these innocent men and women who have been stranded here were to be hunted. His Right eye began to twitch thinking of all the lives that will be lost. His right hand formed into a fist as he yelled, "YOU CAN"T DO THIS!" He walked forward letting his presence be known.

Xia glared harder at him, her eyes glowing the color of the sun. "What do you mean hunted? are you all mad? We have done nothing to you! and there are innocent children here!" she yelled as she stepped forward getting closer to him feeling her body heat rise.

"Quiet!!" Fola shouted as she swung her arm out at Freeman and Xia. "Freeman or Xia please keep Adilah from losing it again. She needs to remain calm or we'll have some major issues on our hands. I assume there's a reason you're telling us all of this. We get a chance to fight back yes? Or if we didn't you would have just shot us all without warning us." hearing they were to be hunted like animals truly scared her but she needed to keep a cool head or the whole group would disintegrate and they would all die now.

"Well..." She started as she sucked in a breath to stay calm. "Do we have any supplies? Fresh water, food, blankets, shelter? What do we get and what do we need to look for? Do we get a chance to survive or are we all just going to die? What are our options? Our sense of stability basically."

Xia looked quickly at Fola her eyes turning back to normal. "Sorry i will stay with her." She walked back to Adilah holding her hand trying to keep her calm, knowing her own temper was brewing.

Freeman nodded knowing that if he caused any trouble it would not help. He walked back to the girl and xia and sat next to Adilah calming himself.

The officer watches closely and the soldiers put their hands on their guns but leave them hooked. "Yes all of you will be hunted. We do hope you fight back or else we will not learn. You all will most likely die. Yes there is water and some food enough for perhaps one meal. You must find it though."

One man in the group steps forwards "We should just kill you now! There are only three of you and many of us!

The officer smiles" you could try..." He makes a small sign with his hand, a gunshot is heard and the man who spoke up falls, a bullethole in his forehead and the back of his head missing. "Does anyone else have any dreams of being a hero or delusions of grandeur? No? Good. Any other questions?" He makes another gesture and three more men fast rope from the helicopter. "Now we are going to start easy. These five men will be coming after you in say like... one minute. I suggest you get moving..."

Xis looks up alarmed trying to figure if what she just heard is real before looking at Freeman whispering, "This can't be real. Please tell me this is a horrible dream. I dont know how to control myself. What do we do?" She trails off suddenly remembering all the children. "They will never survive we have to hide them." She says quietly
